ADVENTURES IN
GROWING FULL DAY CHILDCARE |
|
Adventures in Growing provides a warm and
nurturing environment that promotes each child's physical,
social, emotional, creative, and intellectual development. We believe that
children are curious about the world around them and that play is a
child's work. Our curriculum is very much an emergent curriculum where we
build on ideas begun by the children themselves. Children are quicker to
learn if they themselves are invested in the idea.
With pediatric obesity at an epidemic level of
13% of children and adolescents in the U.S., getting children away from
the television or computer games and into the gym is a terrific first step
toward a more active lifestyle.
