STATION DEVELOPMENTAL PRESCHOOL |
|
We are accredited through the
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and promote each child's physical, social, emotional, creative, and
intellectual development. Our preschool curriculum is based on the belief
that children learn best through first-hand experience with a variety of
materials and equipment. Our classroom is set up for kindergarten
readiness, so that children make
decisions about what they would like to discover, create, and practice in
various learning centers. We also offer a half-day
summer preschool camp full of adventure and discovery.
Studies show that children learn cognitive
skills more effectively in an environment that includes the body as well
as the mind - (Barrett, 1998)
