The Boise Rock Gym
is the only climbing and team building facility in southern Idaho dedicated to groups,
parties, and special events! We're a popular destination for
families, schools, churches, scout troops, businesses, and birthday
parties. All
activities are based on pre-scheduled groups - we do not offer 'open' gym
hours.

Our
beginner-friendly walls are set up perfectly for anyone. Unlike other rock
gyms, we don't cater to hard-core climbers. Our gym is designed for the
average person, though it still offers plenty of challenges for everyone! We have up to 25 top-rope sections,
numerous bouldering challenges, a rope ladder, our huge "Spider Web"
climbing net, and a unique Hoop-and-Pole climbing course. Groups are
expected to provide teenagers or adults to belay their climbers.
Our staff will go over all rules and training with your group before
activities begin. We make it easy,
safe, and hassle-free!

What is
Bouldering?
Climbing solo a few feet off the
ground without the use of harnesses and ropes - a great
way to build strength and technique. Our
Boulder Challenges and Hoop and Pole climbing course add exciting
options!
What is Top
Roping?
Climbing to the ceiling with a
harness and rope attached to climbers and belayer. We have lots of challenges for top
ropers. See how you measure up against your buddies! How many
points can you earn on a climb?
What is a
Belayer?
Person at ground-level who
controls the climber's rope as they ascend. A belayer allows the climber
to safely descend to the floor. |

Corporate Groups
GROUPS THAT PLAY TOGETHER,
STAY TOGETHER. It's true! Especially in the corporate world, it's
important for co-workers and associates to be allowed to spend quality
time together outside the workplace, enhancing their personal and
professional relationships. Our unique layout allows us to offer fantastic
team building activities that will bring your group a
little closer together, such as
Traffic Jam, Rope Knot, Pipeline, Sneak A Peek, Password, Brick By Brick, Hot Lava,
and many more!
These thought-provoking and often hilarious challenges will not only
encourage cooperation and communication, but will stretch those
brain cells as well.
The
process of team building includes clarifying the goal,
identifying the obstacles, forming a plan, and executing the plan. The
benefits of team building include more
developed working relationships, shared positive experiences, a
greater understanding of individual strengths and talents, and the reward
of doing something fun and different with colleagues or peers.
