It is so important for children to learn critical water
safety skills at a young age, and that is why Positive Strokes has developed a
cutting-edge swimming instruction program that will develop an understanding of
water safety and encourage proper swim technique. Our curriculums
are based on ages and skill levels, so your child will receive the best
possible instruction. Swim lessons have never been so simple and fun! |

Class Name:
Parent/Porpoise
This class teaches confidence in water, swimming readiness, and water
safety. Parent must participate in the water with child. Swim diaper
required if not toilet trained.
Class Length: 30 minutes
Ratio: 8 to 1
Fee: $58 per 2-week session

LEARNING TO SWIM

Level 1 (Seahorse)
- Child must be 3 yrs old and be able to participate without a parent. This
class is for students with little or no swim experience.
Level 2
(Angel Fish)
- Child must be able
to blow bubbles in the water.
Level 3
(Starfish)
- Child
must be able to submerge face in water.
Level 4
(Jellyfish)
- Child
must be able to submerge entire body. |
ADVANCED

(Rainbow Trout) - Child must be able to front crawl unassisted for 50
feet and tread water for ten seconds. |
STROKE TECHNIQUE, CONDITIONING, ENDURANCE
Goggles strongly recommended

(Dolphin) - Child must be able to perform back crawl and breast stroke
for 15 feet.
