Located within the WINGS Center, Adventures in Growing has access to a variety of teaching environments not generally available to childcare programs. An indoor gym and playground enhance physical development and creative movement activity. We want children to equate learning with fun, curiosity with adventure, and questions with exploration

Our curriculum is inclusive and multi-cultural, making the children’s transition from home out into the world-at-large a smooth and pleasant experience. Routine tasks are incorporated into the program as a means of furthering children's learning, self-help, and social skills. The environment at Adventures in Growing is safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate. We encourage children to think, reason, question, and experiment. Parents are a child's first teacher, so our staff will strive to develop positive and productive relationships with families.  We will respect each family, its culture, language, customs, and beliefs.

Because Adventures in Growing is located inside the Wings Center, kids can be involved in a variety of learning and recreational experiences throughout the week.

Adventures in Growing offers a diverse learning environment, which includes a variety of tools, equipment specifically suited to early learning, and manipulatives designed to develop a multitude of skills. Our focus is on kindergarten readiness, which includes socialization skills and conflict resolution skills along with academic skills. The whole child is supported in his/her journey. We work towards providing a warm, nurturing environment that will promote each child’s physical, social, emotional, creative and intellectual development.
