 Adventures in Growing (AIG) full day childcare provides a nurturing environment that promotes each child's physical, social, emotional, creative, and intellectual development. We believe that children are curious about the world around them and that play is a child's work. Our curriculum is very much an emergent curriculum where we build on ideas begun by the children themselves. Children are quicker to learn if they themselves are invested in the idea. Finding a trusted, caring full day childcare provider can be a challenge, and we take caring and educating children very seriously.

 Your child will engage in Developmental Preschool activities at no extra charge. Our preschool segment will take place in the AIG classroom but will follow the same guidelines as the half-day preschool that is currently a part of Wings Center (Imagination Station).

 

  • 10 to 1 child/counselor ratio
  • Flexible Scheduling - 2 to 5 days per week
  • Caring adult caregivers: city-licensed, CPR/1st Aid certified

7:00am to 6:00pm (closed major holidays)

  • Children must be completely toilet-trained
  • Kindergarten readiness through Preschool curriculum, art, cooking, sensory projects, and more!
  • High activity level due to unique Wings Center environment, including daily visits to Planet Kid indoor soft playground
  • Weekly gymnastics-based motor development is included!
  • Swimming is included during the summer!
  • Emphasis on Social and Behavioral skills
  • Character Counts Character Development Program
  • Communication with parents through semi-annual conferences and monthly newsletters
  • Parents need to provide two snacks and a lunch daily

  • Due each September or as students first sign up
  • One Registration Fee due per year (September-May)
  • There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for School Day Outs, Holiday Camps, Spring Break Camp, or Summer Camp

RESERVATION FEE:  $50 per child

  • Required to hold your childcare spot
  • Will be applied toward first month's fee and is non-refundable
SUPPLIES FEE: $50 per child
  • Goes toward materials and on-going teacher education
  • Amount decreases in January to accommodate mid-season sign-ups
