With the popularity of indoor rock climbing gyms, climbing has become more mainstream, but our rock climbing gym is a little different. The Boise Rock Gym is the only rock climbing and team building facility in southern Idaho dedicated to groups, parties, and special events! Unlike other rock climbing gyms, we don't cater to hard-core climbers. Our beginner-friendly gym is designed for the average person.
We don't offer regular climbing hours. Because we are a group-based gym we are available for pre-scheduled groups of at least 6 people. We're a popular destination for families, schools, churches, scout troops, and businesses. And we're not just about rock climbing! We also offer Team Building activities. You can schedule rock climbing or team building as stand-alone activities, or do both in the same visit! It's up to you.
We have up to 25 top-rope sections, numerous bouldering challenges, a rope ladder, and our huge "Spider Web" climbing net. Groups are expected to provide teenagers or adults to belay their climbers. Our staff will go over all rules and training with your group before activities begin. Find out how easy, safe, and hassle-free indoor rock climbing can be.

What is Bouldering? Climbing solo a few feet off the ground without the use of harnesses and ropes - a great way to build strength and technique. Our Boulder Challenges and Hoop and Pole climbing course add exciting options!
What is Top Roping? Climbing to the ceiling with a harness and rope attached to climbers and belayer. We have lots of challenges for top ropers. See how you measure up against your buddies! How many points can you earn on a climb?
What is a Belayer? Person at ground-level who controls the climber's rope as they ascend. A belayer allows the climber to safely descend to the floor.
